Construction on Colorado Blvd Moves Between Riverside Drive and 13th Ave

Lane Closure Schedule Week of March 20, 2017

WHAT IS HAPPENING ON THE PROJECT?
Colorado Boulevard will be closed from 8th Ave. to 13th Ave. this month, with temporary closures from 13th Ave. to
14th Ave. and 7th Ave. to 8th Ave. The closure of Colorado Blvd. will continue to move west as crews make progress.
Crews will also be removing the bridge over Clear Creek this month and Colorado Blvd will be closed from 23rd Ave. to Riverside Dr. Thru traffic will
be routed via detour to Miner St. and local traffic will be allowed access to 20th Ave. and 23rd Ave.
In February, crews plan to continue work on the retaining wall, curb, gutter and sidewalk on 12th Ave. to 9th Ave.
moving west. There will be additional shoring and water mainline work in the project zone requiring temporary
shut offs. The bridge reconstruction will start with the removal of the old
bridge in February and will continue for approximately 5 months.
WHEN ARE THE CREWS WORKING?
Crews will be on the work site between 7:00am – 5:00pm Monday-Friday. The road will not re-open after work hours.
No night work is scheduled.
ROAD CLOSURES
Travelers should expect a full-road closure of Colorado Blvd. from 8th Ave. to 13th Ave. this month, with temporary closures
from 13th Ave. to 14th Ave. and 7th Ave. to 8th Ave. During the Clear Creek bridge removal, Colorado Blvd. will be closed
from 23rd Ave. to Riverside Dr. There will be a detour onto Miner St., with local access between 20th Ave. and 23rd Ave.

SPECIAL NOTE TO THE PUBLIC
For the safety of pedestrians, please refrain from walking through the construction zone during working hours as this poses a
huge risk to the public. Please make sure to move cars parked on Colorado Boulevard in the work zone prior to work hours.

WORK ON PRIVATE PROPERTIES
Side work on private properties (water lines, sewer lines, driveways) will be available to those along the work zone. If
