Seeking Police Data Entry Clerk

The Idaho Springs Police Department will be accepting applications for the position of Police Data Entry Clerk. This is a great opportunity to put your people skills to work, brush up on your typing and learn a great deal about the criminal justice system from the ground level. The pay range is $13.25 to 14.25 depending on qualifications. It is a 30 hour per week position with some scheduling flexibility, with primarily a Monday through Friday schedule. This position may converted to full time in January 2018. Applicants must have a clean criminal history. We are compelled to abide by the federal Controlled Substance Act . . . . hence if you indulge in MJ this is not a job you will be interested in. A security screen will be required to access an array of databases. People skills and desire to converse with people of all walks of life is essential. This position may be subject to random drug testing.
