Mount Evans Highway to close at Echo Lake for season on October 8

 CLEAR CREEK COUNTY—The Colorado Department of Transportation will close Mount Evans Highway (Colorado Highway 5) at Echo Lake for the season to vehicular traffic on Monday, October 8.

 CO 5 is scheduled to reopen for the summer season the Friday before Memorial Day, weather permitting.
