2019 Business Facade Mini Grant Program in Idaho Springs
In 2018, The City recieved a $25,000 grant from Freeport McMoRan, operators of the Henderson Mine near Empire, to implement a Business Facade Improvement Grant Program for businesses along Colorado Boulevard on the east end of town. Based on the success of that program, the City was awarded another Grant from Freeport McMoRan to repeat the program in 2019 and expand it to all businesses within Idaho Springs.
This program is meant to be used to encourage building improvements on properties that will have a long term economic impact on the City. Low or no cost Loans may be available through the Clear Creek Economic Development Corporation to help Buisness owners with projects. Please visit the EEDC website at www.clearcreekedc.org for more information.
