Corona Virus Financial Assistance Application
The City of Idaho Springs is now accepting applications from Idaho Springs residents for immediate, limited financial assistance during the coronavirus pandemic. This is intended for essential needs such as food, bill assistance, and other family essentials. Generally, the award will be around $100. However, each application will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. We will reconsider this limit throughout the process, based on the funding and number of applicants. Your application will be reviewed by a selection committee and all identifying information will be removed so that your narrative and request details will only be reviewed.
You must live within the city limits of Idaho Springs. Having an Idaho Springs address does not necessarily qualify as being an Idaho Springs city resident. If you're unsure, call City Hall at 303-567-4421.
Your application does not guarantee financial assistance. Your application will be reviewed by a committee. However, if you do not receive assistance in the first round of funding, your application will automatically be added to the next round. Please visit https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/idahosprings/covid 19-3 for a list of resources in our area (including food distribution, other financial assistance, and housing assistance). Financial assistance will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
