Provider and Community Relations Subcommittee

The Provider and Community Relations Subcommittee will advise and assist the Department in addressing all issues related to the provider, client and community experience. This subcommittee may consider and address issues related to:

  • Primary Care Medical Providers (PCMPs) including:

    • Recruiting providers who currently are not enrolled in Medicaid;

    • Increasing the total number of Medicaid providers in the ACC;

    • Developing provider communications;

    • Sharing best practices related to provider support (administrative support, provision of patient materials, provider trainings);

    • Establishing medical home standards of care;

    • Improving access to PCMP care;

    • Coordinating with the SDAC; and

    • Coordinating processes and procedures with multiple RCCOs.

  • Extended network including:

    • Implementing best practices;

    • Improving access to PCMPs; and

    • Coordinating specialty care.

  • Coordination of community-based organizations, and
  • Client feedback.
