Colorado Health Access Survey shows high satisfaction with Medicaid

Denver, CO – The Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing administers Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program) and Child Health Plan Plus. Today the Department issued the following statement in response to the 2017 Colorado Health Access Survey conducted by the Colorado Health Institute:
“We are very pleased to see Colorado maintaining the coverage gains we have worked long and hard to achieve,” said Susan E. Birch, MBA, BSN, RN, executive director of the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing. “Health First Colorado members’ strong satisfaction with the range of services and choice of doctors we offer speaks to the commitment our providers have made to help meet the needs of our members and their families. Together, we will transform Colorado into the healthiest state in the nation.”
