Access Monitoring Review Plan
In accordance with 42 CFR 447.203, the Department of Health Care Policy & Financing develops an Access Monitoring Review Plan (the AMRP) every three years. The AMRP evaluates access to the following fee-for-service services:
The AMRP makes determinations concerning the sufficiency of Colorado Medicaid member access to care, as defined in 42 CFR 447.203. This evaluation is informed and supported by public input, health quality survey data, administrative claim utilization analysis, and payment rate comparison.
A revised Access Monitoring Review Plan was submitted to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on October 26, 2016 and is available for review and download.
