What an honor it is to be selected as the new Chief of Foothills Fire & Rescue. I’m looking forward to working with our volunteers, community members, and partner agencies to maintain and grow our highly responsive fire, rescue, and emergency services. I want to thank outgoing Chief Brian Zoril for his commitment and dedication to building an exceptional professional volunteer fire department.
Foothills Fire and Rescue is a combination fire department with three paid staff and 45+ highly trained and dedicated volunteer firefighters. The men and women of Foothills Fire & Rescue are trained at or above the Colorado state Firefighter I, Wildland Firefighter Type 2, Hazardous Materials Operations, and Emergency Medical Responder levels. We maintain our skills and certifications through industry standard trainings, constantly striving to provide protection for life and property within our 25 square mile district. Fire suppression, hazardous materials, auto extrication, emergency medical services or any other emergency that may occur … our firefighters have the resources to handle it. I am proud to lead this department as we continually strive to improve the services we provide our community.
