Questions? Contact Lauren Pavlish at firstname.lastname@example.org
How do I know what size jersey to order? Our soccer jersey is a polyester/cotton blend and they typically run a little small. We would recommend ordering one size up when prompted at registration.
My kids have a difficult time playing soccer in the cold/wind. Can you turn up the heat? No, but we can move indoors now! Saturday games will be moved to the Estes Valley Community Center gymnasium on those cold and windy days.
Do you need sponsors? Yes, we are seeking local businesses for $175 team sponsorships to help offset the cost of new equipment and supplies. This year we will recognize sponsors with logo banners in the gymnasium and other public platforms. Please contact Nolan Oberg at email@example.com if you are interested in sponsoring our soccer program. Thanks for considering!
Do you need coaches? Yes, we are actively recruiting volunteer coaches to commit to 3 hours per week. Our coaches are require to pass a background check and obtain a concussion training certification. We operate under the Positive Coaching Alliance philosophy.
I want to coach, but don't have any experience. It's okay, we have you covered! It's pretty normal for parent coaches to not have much experience. We will show you how to run a practice and be ready to coach!
May I make special requests during registration? Yes, you will be prompted to include any special requests during the registration process where you can request certain practice days/times, coaches or teammates. We will make every attempt to honor your requests.
Are scholarships available? Yes, we provide scholarships for 50% and 75% off the registration fee to disadvantaged youth that reside "in-District." Please submit the Scholarship Request form to Nolan Oberg at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Will I need to buy anything extra for my player(s) to participate? Registration fees include a soccer jersey. Your player(s) should wear athletic shorts/pants and soccer shoes for practices and games. Shin guards are highly recommended.
When will I know which team my player(s) is on? Teams will be formed the day after registration closes. You will receive an email after Labor Day from Nolan Oberg with team assignments and program details.
When will I know the practice and game schedule? You will receive an email after Labor Day from Nolan Oberg with team assignments and program details (practice times, location and game schedule).
My player is advanced for his/her age. Are they allowed to play in the next age division? Yes, go ahead and register in the correct age division and make note of this request during the registration process (you will get a “special request” prompt). If you aren’t sure if they should “play up,” please contact Nolan Oberg at email@example.com.
