The EVRPD Youth Spring Soccer program emphasizes FUN and DEVELOPMENT physically, psychologically, and socially. Teams are coached by volunteers. Each team plays twice a week (one practice and one game). If you are interested in coaching please contact us.
Fees: $40.00/IN DISTRICT and $50.00/OUT OF DISTRICT.
Program Dates: April 10 - May 18, 2017
Practice Dates/Location: There will be one practice a week and one game. All practices are either *Monday’s or Tuesday’s at Stanley Park Fields. Practice days will be based on coach availability. **The first three sessions will be practices.Game Dates: Each team will have 5 games. Games are either on Wednesday’s or Thursday’s. There will be one practice a week and one game, **except the first three sessions will be practices.Roster Sizes: **Rosters will be limited. K-1st grade will be 8 teams max in each division with 6 player min/8 player max per roster. 2nd-3rd and 4th-6th grade will be 4 teams max in each division with 10 player min/12 player max per roster.*A minimum of 12 players for K-1st and a minimum of 20 players for 2nd-3rd & 4th-5th must be registered on the final day of EARLY registration to ensure two teams. If there is not a correct minimum of players, the league will not be formed.Coaches: The EVRPD utilizes volunteer coaches. If you are able and interested in coaching, we will waive your child’s registration fee (head coaches only, one child only), you will receive a coaches hoodie, and an EVRPD coffee tumbler. Please contact the EVRPD for more information on becoming a youth sports coach and to attend the coaches meeting on Tuesday, April 4, 6pm at the Stanley Park Recreation Office. **Please note, parents will find out what time their practices/games are after the coaches meeting.Equipment: Each player will receive a team jersey reflecting the Colorado Rapids logo. Players should wear athletic clothing (black shorts for game day), cleats (plastic only), and bring a water bottle. Soccer balls and other equipment is provided.Field Location: Stanley Park
*Late Registration: Tuesday, March 21- Monday, March 27, there will be a $10 late fee. Late registrations will be taken on a “space-available” basis only and can be done online or at the Stanley Park Rec Office.
The Northern Valley Athletic Association (NVAA) is an organization made up of teams from the Town of Kersey, Eaton Recreation, LaSalle Recreation, City of Evans Recreation, Platteville Recreation, Fort Lupton Parks and Recreation, and Rebel Youth Athletics. EVRPD has joined this league to find opportunities outside the Estes Valley for our young athletes to develop, compete, and have fun. We are currently forming teams to play soccer in the Northern Valley Athletic Association. This league will involve travel for games on 6-7 separate Saturdays to the Front Range.The league deadline to make a team commitment is Tuesday, February 21, 2017.
Divisions: 3rd/4th Grade; 7v7 5th/6th Grade; 9v9Roster Size:
3rd/4th grade will play 7v7 minimum of 10 players maximum 12 allowed per team.
5th/6th grade will play 9v9 minimum of 12 players maximum14 allowed per team.
Late registrations may be accepted as roster sizes allow until the second week of play.
Players must commit to participating in 75% of the season including both practices and games.Games: Saturdays, March 18-May 6 (Includes end of season tournament).Game Locations: Games will be played on Saturdays. Depending on field availability,EVRPD may host 1 or 2 games, however this is not a guarntee. Carpooling is highly encouraged.Pratices: Each team will have practice twice per week after school and is dependent on field and coach availability.Equipment Required: Team jersey and socks will be supplied. Players must wear black shorts and soccer cleats.Activity Scholarships: Scholarships are available through the Estes Valley Youth Activity Assistance Fund. Applications are available at the EVRPD office.
