Are scholarships available? Yes, we provide scholarships for 50% and 75% off the registration fee to disadvantaged youth that reside "in-District." Please submit the Scholarship Request form to Nolan Oberg at email@example.com.
Will I need to buy anything extra for my player(s) to participate? Players should wear baseball cleats and bring a water bottle. They should also bring a baseball glove and other specialized gear. Helmets, bats and balls will be provided.
Will someone be available to walk kids over after school? Yes, the program instructor, Coach Tony Salerno, will meet the elementary kids at the Statue of Liberty after school. Parents should let teachers know of this arrangement.
How will the camp be structured? This camp is for players that want to improve their fundamentals and overall skills in baseball. This IS NOT for kids that are looking for somewhere to hang out after school. Coach Tony and other volunteer coaches will be running fielding and footwork drills. They will also work on batting, catching and pitching.
Where will I pick up my child when camp is over? Parents should plan to be at pickup at 5 p.m. Parents should email or call Nolan Oberg if someone else is picking up their player.
