The Estes Valley Recreation and Park District (EVRPD) is soliciting proposals from qualified professional vendors for Information Technology support services. The qualified vendor will enable EVRPD to significantly improve information technology (IT) effectiveness, enhance its quality of services by providing technical support and business communication needs that will, minimize its support cost, and maximize return on investment in IT.
The Estes Park Recreation and Park District is a quasi-municipal corporation and a political subdivision of the State of Colorado and therefore tax exempt. Every effort should be made to reference competitively bid government pricing.

The Estes Valley Recreation and Park District (EVRPD) is soliciting proposals from qualified professional vendors for Information Technology support services. The qualified vendor will enable EVRPD to significantly improve information technology (IT) effectiveness, enhance its quality of services by providing technical support and business communication needs that will, minimize its support cost, and maximize return on investment in IT. The selected respondent will perform a detailed analysis of the current IT applications and environment while working with Operations staff to formulate short term and long term strategic plans. The District’s Information Technology and Communications Services will be created from this work effort and will be heavily used as a resource for future development and redevelopment of the District’s information systems over the next five years.
The service should provide for up to 4 hours of Systems Administrator (Tier 2 or higher) service per month to the client for the purposes of technical support either on site, offsite, via telephone or via remote access via the internet. The service will require that a Tier 2 or higher Systems Administrator be assigned to EVRPD and made available for all Tier 2 and higher services including all on-site visits, Technology Review Meetings and all strategic planning events. All Tier 1 service requests may be handled by the providers’ help desk or available staff.
This services agreement shall be for no less than and no more than a 1-year term and will include annual renewal options. All fees related to the service agreement shall be invoiced on a monthly basis and include service ticketing detail as well as EVRPD access to a ticketing portal for purposes of monitoring and prioritizing of service tickets.
This service will be utilized for all of the client’s sites listed herein.
The proposal response submitted shall contain all information as requested herein, and any additional information necessary to summarize the overall benefit of the proposal to the District. Proposing firms should submit three (3) copies of the proposal not later than noon on Jan. 15, 2018.
Estes Valley Recreation and Park District reserves the right to reject any/all proposals. Proposals will be initially evaluated to determine if they meet basic requirements. Based on the information submitted, the District will review costs, options available, and service contracts. EVRPD reserves the right to obtain clarification or additional information necessary to properly evaluate a proposal or any part thereof. Vendors may be asked to give a verbal presentation or demonstration.
