This class teaches basic swim skills including face submer- sion, blowing bubbles, rhythmic breathing, and front and back floats with and without support. Kicking and alternating arm motions on both front and back are introduced. The class also covers elementary backstroke, jumping into the water, recovery and lifejacket use.

FAWN
This class teaches face submersion, blowing mouth and nose bubbles, rhythmic breathing, and retrieving objects under- water. Children will also learn how to use kickboards, begin- ning front crawl, and backstroke motions with and without support. By the end of the session, students will also learn how to glide and float on their front and back, proper use of a lifejacket, pool rules, and how to call for help.
