Do you need sponsors? Yes, we are seeking local businesses for $175 program sponsorships to help offset the cost of new equipment and supplies. We will hang program sponsor banners in the new Estes Valley Community Center. Please contact Nolan Oberg at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in sponsoring a team. Thanks for considering!
Do you need coaches? Yes, we are actively recruiting volunteer coaches to commit to three hours per week. Our coaches are required to pass a background check and obtain a concussion training certification. We operate under the Positive Coaching Alliance philosophies.
May I make special requests during registration? Yes, you will be prompted to include any special requests during the registration process where you can request certain practice days/times, coaches or teammates. We will make every attempt to honor your requests.
Are scholarships available? Yes, we provide scholarships for 50% and 75% off the registration fee to disadvantaged youth that reside in District. Please submit the scholarship request form by March 16, 2018 to Nolan Oberg at email@example.com. Applicants will be notified whether they qualify within 48 hours.
Will I need to buy anything extra for my player(s) to participate? Registration fees include a reversible NFL replica jersey and flag belts. Your player(s) should wear athletic shorts/pants and cleats for practice and games.
When will I know which team my player(s) is on? Teams will be formed the week after registration closes (March 16). You will receive an email the week of March 19 from Nolan Oberg with team assignments and program details.
When will I know the practice and game schedule? You will receive an email the week of March 19 from Nolan Oberg with team assignments and program details (practice times, location and game schedule). The plan is to have two age divisions. The 7-9 year olds will practice and play from 3:45-5p. The 10-12 year olds will practice and play from 5-6:15p.
My player is advanced for their age. Are they allowed to play in the next age division? Yes, go ahead and register in the correct age division and make note of this request during the registration process (you will get a “special request” prompt). If you aren’t sure if they should “play up,” please contact Nolan Oberg at firstname.lastname@example.org.
