Nestled in a beautiful valley at 8,050 feet and surrounded by the gorgeous Rocky Mountains, this campground is a stone's throw away from Mary's Lake. All types of campers, from big rig RVers to the adventurous tent-dwellers, escape from the city life here. This campground is the perfect destination for camping enthusiasts of all ages ...whether your ideal day is spent across the street fishing in the lake or onsite splashing in the heated pool, this campground is a long-time favorite of many who return year after year. The close proximity to the town of Estes Park for shopping or dining, makes the location one of the best in the Estes Valley. Amenities are plentiful with full hookups with 50 amp service, hot coin-up showers, laundry facilities, a propane filling station, and a fully stocked camp store. It's easy to pass the time here with your friends and family while you enjoy all that Estes Park has to offer. This campground  is open from May 15th - October 1st.

Natural Features:

image 005The campground is sunny with areas of partial shade primarily in the tent areas. A spectacular view of the Twin Sisters Peaks in Rocky Mountain National Park frames your view as you look over Mary's Lake. Campground roads are graded roadbase and are wide enough to accommodate most truck and trailer combinations as well as big rigs. Natural rock outcroppings provide fun climbing experiences for kids. Deer and elk are frequent visitors to the campground as well as a wide variety of other birds and mammals common to the rocky mountains. As in all mountain areas, responsible food storage is required to deter bears from entering the campground.

Recreation: 

For fishing enthusiasts, spending the day across the road on the shore of Mary's Lake is like spending a day in paradise. Those interested in exploring Rocky Mountain National Park are only a few miles away from the Park entrance station. Trails in Rocky Mountain National Park are suitable for easy strolls as well as fully-committed backcountry treks into the high country. Our enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff is happy to help you plan your day trips. There are numerous outfitters and guiding companies in Estes Park that would love to take you horseback riding, jeeping, fly fishing, rock climbing, sightseeing, or biking.

Facilities:

The Estes Park Campground at Mary's Lake has 120 sites suitable for everyone from tenters to RVers with big rigs. All sites are equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings, some with ADA accessibility. Guests also have access to drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, water electric hookups, full hookup sites, a dump station, firewood and ice sales, a heated swimming pool, a fully stocked campstore, laundry facilities, and a playground for the kids. A free local shuttle stops multiple times daily throughout the summer season and provides easy access to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.

Driving Directions:

From downtown Estes Park, take U.S. Highway 36 west approximate 1.5 miles to the stoplight intersection at the corner of Mary's Lake Road. Turn left on Mary's Lake Road. Travel approximately 1.5 miles to the campground which is at the corner of Peakview Drive and Mary's Lake Road. The address is 2120 Mary's Lake Road, Estes Park, CO 80517.
