Starting in 2019, EVRPD will initiate Estes Park After School Summit/E-PASS, a new after school recreation program for kids in kindergarten through fifth grades. Each four to six-week session will include activities that broaden horizons through exploration, such as natural science, chemistry, music, outdoor activites, municipal protection, astronomy, arts and many other special interests. Kids will receive a Longs Peak Passport and work their way from the trail head to the summit. Send your kids on over to our base camp for an epic adventure starting in January, 2019!
Age: Kindergarten to 5th grades

Session 1: January 15 to February 21, 2019 (6 weeks)

Session 2: February 26 to March 21, 2019 (4 weeks); activities TBA
Session 3: April 2 to May 9, 2019 (6 weeks); activities TBA
Registration: preregistration online or in-person until the activity is full. In-person registration will be taken at the Estes Valley Community Center.

Expedition Tuesdays: Join us every Tuesday for six weeks as we partner with the Rocky Mountain Conservancy and explore various areas of outdoor recreation. Our friends from Rocky Mountain Conservancy will be teaching kids about Leave No Trace principles, reading maps and compasses, survival skills, track and scat, hiking techniques and skills to be safe in the wilderness.
Non-Traditional Sports: Join us every Wednesday for six weeks as we teach kids the basics of non-traditional sports like Ping Pong, Ultimate Frisbee, Pickleball, Kids Yoga and much more!
Mask Making: Join us every Wednesday for six weeks as the mask making extraordinaire, Ilah Reynar teaches kids how to use their imagination and create a fun and unique mask!
