Four youth in the Eagles program at Lookout Mountain Youth Services Center spent the day volunteering at the Second Wind Walk/Run, October 5, 2019, in Green Mountain. The Second Wind Fund is a suicide awareness and prevention organization that was founded in 2002. To date, the Second Wind Fund has helped more than 5,600 young people. This is the fifth year that Eagles program youth have been involved with the walk/run.

Many people surviving domestic violence experience a traumatic brain injury - and advocates can refer survivors to no-cost individualized support services! The Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado (BIAC) is available to partner with survivors across Colorado.
We are excited to announce that DVP will be funding a new program on October 1st - Latina Safehouse Initiative. Their mission is to provide bilingual and culturally sensitive services to Latina survivors of domestic violence and their families.
Activity #1 under Outcome #5 Goal #2 of the DVP Statement of Work states that DVP would upload each organization’s policies into the CAFE database and the organization would review the uploaded policies. Our timeline for this activity has changed. Click for more information on this change.
