Statements of Position

The Colorado Constitution is the foundation of the laws that govern our state, you may access a copy of the Colorado Constitution via a site hosted  Lexis Nexis. 

Both segments of Colorado's marijuana industry are able to operate within the confines of our state due to the passage of two separate Colorado voter ballot initiatives modifying our state constitution;  Medical Marijuana was decriminalized through the Amendment Twenty Campaign in November of 2000 and  Recreational (Retail)  Marijuana was decriminalized through  the Amendment Sixty-Four  Campaign in  November of 2012

Both sections addressing Colorado's marijuana industries are contained within Colorado's Constitutional Article XVIII, entitled Miscellaneous:
