Charge Ahead Colorado

To help improve air quality, encourage deployment of electric vehicles across the state, and support implementation of the Colorado Electric Vehicle Plan, the Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC) and the Colorado Energy Office (CEO) partner to provide financial support for electric vehicles and electric vehicle charging stations through the Charge Ahead Colorado program.

While RAQC administers Charge Ahead Colorado grants for the Denver Metro area, CEO manages the program for all areas of the state outside of Denver Metro. Applicants can learn more about eligibility and available funding as well as submit online applications here. A list of CEO's Charge Ahead Colorado grant awardees to date is available here. The program includes funding support from the Colorado Department of Transportation and the Colorado Department of Health and Environment.

Charge Ahead Colorado typically has three application rounds per year in January, May and October. The next funding round will be open from October 1 thru October 30, 2019. We encourage public and private entities interested in installing a level II or DC fast charging station to apply.
