Chief Human Resources Officer
Ramona Gomoll is an executive human resources business leader with comprehensive HR leadership experience covering all areas of HR. She is a change agent with the ability to effectively balance staff needs with the organization's mission and goals. She utilizes an open and accessible leadership style to drive staff and team empowerment and development while leveraging trust and building strong partnerships across the organization. She has earned the respect of her teams and colleagues because she stays results-driven and people-focused.
Before joining DPA, Ramona served as the Chief People Officer for the Governor's Office of Information Technology. She has successfully translated her extensive experience from the private sector to public administration.
Ramona and her team provide support to more than 30,000 State employees supporting 17 executive branch agencies across Colorado. She has been leading initiatives that have provided results in increasing service to business partners, advancing a culture of employee support and collaboration and streamlining processes to improve internal efficiencies.
In addition to the above, Ramona has held senior leadership positions with various organizations in the telecommunications industry, including Mastec Advanced Technologies, DirecTV, On Command, Comcast, and AT&T Broadband. Ramona is an expert in negotiations and collaboration across an organization with an ability to advocate for her team to receive budget needs as necessary to support the overall organization mission and goals. You will often find her collaborating with other departments to work together to do more with the budgets they have each received by joining efforts and resources. Ramona is always looking for new and innovative ways to meet organizational needs and encourages and inspires her teams to do the same.

Ramona holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Metropolitan State College of Denver, a Paralegal Certificate from Denver University and is SPHR and SHRM-SCP certified.
