Health Cost Report

Annual Health Insurance Cost Report

The annual Health Insurance Cost Report analyzes the cost of health insurance and the factors that drive the cost of health insurance premiums on an individual and group basis in this state. Additionally, it reports on financial information of health carriers, such as: benefit ratios, rate increases, and the reasons for health insurance rate increases.

The report has two components, the Health Insurance Cost Report itself, and an aggregated summary of the costs of providing healthcare in Colorado, as reported by health insurance carriers. It is required to be published annually by statute C.R.S. 10-16-111.

For more information, see Colorado Regulation 4-2-31 Annual Health Reporting and Data Retention Requirements.
