A: A professional review governing board (“governing board”) that establishes or uses one or more professional review committees to review the practice of persons licensed under Article 36 or licensed under Article 38 and granted authority as advanced practiced nurses shall register with the Division of Professions and Occupations (DPO) within 30 days after approving the written bylaws, policies, or procedures for the professional review committee.
A: First, search to ensure that your governing board isn’t already registered with DORA. The search can be conducted by reviewing the List of Registered Governing Boards. If your governing board is not registered, you may proceed with registering. To register, access the Professional Review Governing Board Registration System, create an account and follow the prompts to enter the information about your governing board. It is recommended that different names and email addresses are entered for the “Primary Contact” and “Alternate Contact”. The person who registers the governing board is considered the “Responsible Individual”. The “Responsible Individual” will be able to make changes/updates and submit an annual report.
A: If you know the Logon ID and Password, log in to the Professional Review Governing Board System. Once logged in the system, click on the tab “Update”, make all changes and click on the tab “Save”. If you do not know the Logon ID or cannot access the email account already registered for your governing board, please contact the Professional Review Governing Board Helpdesk by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 303-894-3027.

A: If you have forgotten your Password, use the “Password Finder” feature on the Professional Review Governing Board System Password Finder Page. An email will be sent to the email address on record with information on how to reset your password.
A: Online reporting opens on January 1 and closes at midnight on March 1. Your report must be submitted in the Professional Review Governing Board System before midnight on March 1 for reporting data from the previous calendar year.
A: When you submit your Annual Report you will be asked to input the total number for each of the categories below (the reporting period is January 1 through December 31):
A: An annual report must be submitted online; it cannot be mailed. Log in to the Professional Review Governing Board System using the User ID and Password created when the governing board was registered with DPO. The person who registered the governing board is considered the “Responsible Individual” and can make changes/updates and submit annual reports. If you need to change the Responsible Individual for your governing board, please contact the Professional Review Governing Board Helpdesk by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 303-894-3027. Once logged in to the record for your governing board, you will see a tab at the bottom of your page “Submit Report”. Click “Submit Report” and follow the prompts to submit your Annual Report.
Please note: Once your Annual Report is submitted, it CANNOT be viewed, edited or deleted by the governing board or by DORA staff. It is imperative that an Annual Report be submitted only after all information is finalized by your governing board.
A: No, DORA staff cannot view your Annual Report. Information is submitted through our online system in an anonymous manner and DORA staff cannot view the individual information submitted. Pursuant to section 12-36.5-104.6(3)(a), C.R.S., all data reported is published on the Professional Review of Health Care Providers website in an aggregate form and without individually identifiable information concerning the governing board, the authorized entity or any individual who was subject to review.
A: After the reporting period closes, a report containing aggregate data, and without individually identifiable information concerning a governing board, will be available on the Professional Review of Health Care Providers website under Annual Reporting on the Program homepage.
