DOLA announces new Division of Housing director


 DENVER - Wednesday, June 3, 2015   The Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) today announced that Alison George has been selected to serve as the new director of the Division of Housing (DOH). She is replacing Pat Coyle who is now the deputy director of DOLA.

Alison has been the DOH deputy director for four years, and brings more than 20 years of experience in affordable housing development. Before joining DOH, Alison served Mercy Housing Colorado as its regional vice president of Multifamily Housing where she provided overall direction for rental housing developments in Colorado, from initial project conception through project completion.

"Alison moves into this role with ease, having worked with the DOH staff and partner agencies for five years" said Irv Halter, executive director of DOLA. "She has a passion for this work and is poised to increase our momentum so we can serve more Coloradans."

This promotion was effective June 1, 2015.
