Boulder Driver’s License Office set to reopen on Wednesday

October 21, 2014 – DENVER, Colo. – The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles driver license office in Boulder is set to reopen on Wednesday, October 22. The office has been temporarily closed since late August to repair damage due to a water main break that impacted not only the driver license office, but many other businesses in the mall on Iris Avenue.

When opened, the Boulder office will again offer driver and identification card services to include the issuance of driver licenses and identification cards, written tests.

“We want to thank the greater Boulder community for their patience while we repaired the damaged office,” said Mike Dixon, senior director of the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles. “We are very glad to have the office back in operation providing driver and identification card services to the citizens of Boulder and surrounding communities.”

Appointments scheduled prior to the office’s temporary closure will occur as planned after the office reopening.
