Law Enforcement, Public Safety and Criminal Justice Information Sharing Grant Announcement

Announcement

The Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management is happy to announce the availability of funds through the Law Enforcement, Public Safety and Criminal Justice Information Sharing (LEPIS)  Grant Program created by the Colorado State Legislature's HB19-1073.  This program provides funding for rural and cash strapped local law enforcement agencies with one-time grants to allow them to join the Colorado Information Sharing Consortium (CISC) information system.

Application and Review Process

All eligible applications received by the due date of November 1, 2019 will be reviewed by the Grant Selection Committee (GSC).  Please see the application handbook for complete instructions on submitting your application.  

Technical Assistance 

DHSEM-SER will hold two technical assistance calls to allow applicants to ask questions and get help with their applications.  They will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 1 p.m. and Friday, October 12, 2019 at 10 a.m.  Attendance is not required; you will receive invitations to the calls in the near future.  Please feel free to forward the email and the technical assistance call invitations to whomever in your organization will be responsible for applying.
