2014 Meet & Confer
Each year, the Department of Personnel & Administration’s Division of Human Resources (DHR) conducts a survey to measure and compare salaries and benefits offered to the State’s classified employees. This survey is conducted to ensure our total compensation package is competitive when compared to private industry and other government entities. Findings from the annual survey are used to develop recommendations for salary adjustments; medical, dental and basic life insurance plan premium contributions; and leave benefits. These recommendations are submitted to the Governor each August 1 to assist in developing his proposed budget.
The Division of Human Resources will hold informational (“meet and confer”) sessions to explain the survey process and methods used in collecting information, to answer questions and to seek employee feedback on the process.
Two sessions will be conducted on Friday, May 30th, the first from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the second from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Both sessions will be conducted in the 1st floor Conference Center at 1525 Sherman Street in Denver.
