It’s that time of year when everyone is excited to be back in the classroom and learning new things. Are you looking to reignite your passion for learning? Are you looking to prepare yourself for career growth? Or maybe you just want to enhance your leadership skills and stay in-the-know on current trends.

The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention & Control is proud to a be a co-host of this year’s Fire Leadership Challenge happening Oct. 22-25 in Keystone.

This conference brings top fire service leaders from around the state and region together to learn, share and connect. This year’s conference has another great program including COLS I and CHIEF I for those looking for Officer Development and great leadership topics for the more experienced chiefs, including topics such as:

  • The Myth of Culture Change in the Fire Service: Looking into the Soul of a Fire Department
  • Tracking Firefighters and Providing a Robust Operating Picture/Situational Awareness in Wildland Fires and Other Large Incidents
  • Building Construction Today: The Faster They Go Up, The Faster They Go Down
