As we move forward, purchasing “Compressed Natural Gas” (CNG) vehicles will be the first option when replacing older inefficient vehicles wherever practicable as a result of Senate Bill 13-070. This will allow the state to take advantage of Colorado’s vast reserves of natural gas reducing our dependence on petroleum, creating new jobs, and reducing our carbon footprint.
Click here for the SFM spreadsheet of current CNG fueling sites in Colorado or use the U.S. Department of Energy interactive map link, Alternative Fueling Station Location, which is not updated by SFM and may not be as current as the SFM spreadsheet. Enter Colorado, select Compressed Natural Gas, and select the icon for the specific details and directions. We recommend calling the stations to verify location, hours of operation, and access.
