Full time Sex offense specific treatment provider – The Offenders Group at Aurora Mental Health is looking for a sex offense specific treatment provider to work within our team. Applicants should be Associate or Full Operating level SOMB approved providers, or willing to work towards becoming approved. If interested but unfamiliar with the requirements of becoming an Approved Provider it is highly recommended that you go to the Colorado Sex Offender Management Board web site and specifically review the section on how to become approved before sending your cover letter and resume. Becoming a provider is a process and a commitment on the part of both the applicant and the supervisor, so it is important that you be interested in working with this population. Please include in your cover letter how working towards becoming an Approved Provider fits in with your professional goals. Job requirements include co-facilitating groups, individual therapy, intakes, writing evaluations, and case management, so good writing skills are a must. All group sessions are conducted in the evenings Monday through Wednesday so you must be available, willing/able to work these hours. This is a full time salaried position with benefits. Please send resume and cover letter with contact information to email@example.com
