We are please to announce a Call for Presenters for the 2020 Statewide Conference for Criminal Justice Professionals: "Best Practices & Inter-Agency Collaboration in Community Corrections". The conference will be held on February 19 & 20, 2020 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Golden, CO. ****The propsal submission deadline has been extended until August 31, 2019, 5 pm MDT****
Target Audience: Professionals working to improve the outcomes and lives of justice-involved individuals, including, but not limited to: Community Corrections program staff, Community Corrections Board staff and members, Department of Corrections staff, Parole Officers, Parole Board members, Probation Officers, Treatment Providers, Office of Behavioral Health staff, Community-Based Organizations, Judges, Attorneys and Criminal Justice students.
Subjects of Interest should include, but are not limited to: Best practices in working with adult justice-involved individuals, 'Costs' of implementation of evidence-based practices, Criminal justice reform, Implementation theory to practice, Inter-agency collaboration, Leadership, LGBTI, Outcome measurement, Racial disparities in criminal justice, Rural perspectives, Staff development, Staff retention, Structured decision-making, and Treatment services
Guidelines for Submissions: Presentation time slots are scheduled for 75 minutes in length. Workshop proposals in two parts (150 min) will also be considered. Please complete and email the attached Word document, along with separate Workshop Description and Presenter Experience / Bio documents per the SUBMISSION INFORMATION section in the attached document.

Presenters receive free*** conference registration but are responsible for all lodging, travel, food and other expenses.
***Additional presenters in sessions with more than 2 presenters will pay 50% off the registration fee

The Governor’s Community Corrections Advisory Council establishes Community Corrections Standards. These standards establish minimum levels of service within Colorado community corrections programs and seek to reduce risks associated with managing offenders in the community.
