Our Progress

The Colorado 2020-2023 WIOA State Plan was submitted to the US Department of Labor at the end of February. The plan underwent a public comment period earlier this year, and was approved by the CWDC at its January meeting after revisions were made. The new plan will go into effect on July 1, 2020. Two performance measure tables in the 2020-2023 WIOA State Plan have been re-opened for public comment through Feb. 21. In Appendix 1. Performance Goals for the Core Programs, Table 3 Median Earnings (Second Quarter after Exit) and Table 5 Measurable Skill Gains have been updated with expected numbers for PY2020 and PY2021. Comments on these two tables are being accepted through Feb. 21.

The public comment period for the 2020-2023 WIOA State Plan closed on Jan. 12, 2020. Comments received were taken into consideration and an updated version of the plan was presented to and approved by the CWDC at their meeting on Jan. 23-24, 2020. The plan will be submitted to the federal government in March and will go into effect July 1, 2020. View the State Plan

Modifications to the current WIOA state plan were approved by the USDOL in fall 2018. The final state plan and an accessible version are available online. The local and regional plans can be accessed on our website as well.
