Welcome Data Steward Apprentice Ethan Bui

July 20, 2018

The CWDC is excited to welcome our new CareerWise apprentice, Ethan Bui, to the team.  In Ethan’s role as data steward, he will support business operations, including procurement, conference logistics and coordination, and technical support.

We wanted to share some more about Ethan in his own words:

Hello, my name is Ethan Bui, and I am a new CWDC apprentice. I will be a senior at Cherry Creek High School this August, while also assisting with business operations at CWDC part-time. Through this three-year apprenticeship program I hope to improve my understanding of business overall and learn new skills that I could apply to future jobs and careers.

Besides school and apprenticing, I like to spend my time with my family, friends, and two dogs. Interests of mine include technology, video games, health, weight lifting, and traveling.

Before I heard about CareerWise from a friend and teacher, my original thinking as a senior was for the school year to be fairly easy and that I would cruise by, before going to college. Except that I have no idea what I want to major in. I’ve always been interested in business and when I heard of an apprenticeship program that offered firsthand experience, it was perfect timing. I had the extra free time and was preparing for college, so it was an easy decision to make. I chose to apprentice at CWDC because of the enthusiastic and friendly staff along with the location of it being in Downtown Denver. I am excited to be able to work with CWDC and support the group of people who were able to make apprenticeships possible in high school. I look forward to learning more about business operations with the help of my awesome manager Madison Murphy and the rest of the CWDC staff.

Welcome, Ethan!
