Call for Pilot Site Schools for Threat Assessment Training with Stipends for School Staff
The Colorado School Safety Resource Center (CSSRC/Center) is accepting applications for pilot sites to assist us with a threat assessment project. The Center received a grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance to work with the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence (CSPV) at CU Boulder, to refine the Colorado Threat Assessment & Management Protocol (CTAMP) and training. This has been phase one of the grant project and is completed. Phase two of the CTAMP Training program will be piloted with five multidisciplinary intervention teams (e.g., administrator, school mental health professional, and law enforcement official) selected from Colorado schools to include urban, suburban, and rural middle and high schools. Selected teams will sign an agreement (MOU) that details their roles and responsibilities.
