City Hall Remodel RFP 2017-2

The City of Central seeks proposals from responsible, qualified contractors to restore and/or remodel certain areas of City Hall that were impacted by flooding caused by a water leak. A restoration company was retained by the City to provide initial mitigation services and stabilization of the structure.  The impacted areas are now ready for restoration.”

Disaster Resiliency and Response Master Plan

Steering Committee Meeting

March 16th  3:00 – 5:00 pm

The City of Central is holding its final Steering Committee meeting for the on-going Disaster Resiliency and Response Master Plan  (DRRMP) on Thursday, March 16th from 3:00-5:00 PM.  The focus of this workshop will be to finalize the Resiliency Strategies Database, which is a list of projects and actions that the City can implement to improve its ability to respond to and recover from future disasters.  The database has been developed over the course of this DRRMP planning process and components of it will be integrated into the City’s Comprehensive Plan, which is currently in the process of being updated.

A final public meeting relating to this project has been scheduled for April 25th, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Gilpin County Courthouse.  For additional information, please see the project website @ https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/centralcity/resiliency-recovery
