CITY OF CENTRAL – PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT - Senior Public Works Maintenance Worker

The City of Central is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Senior Public Works Maintenance Worker.  The ideal candidate should have a High School diploma or GED and one year of experience as a construction laborer.  The candidate should possess a valid Class B Colorado Driver’s License or be capable of obtaining one within three months of the date of hire.  The position is required to perform a wide variety of unskilled and semi-skilled work in maintenance, construction and repair of the City’s infrastructure and facilities including but not limited to highways, roads, bridges, streets, curbs, sidewalks, buildings and other city-owned properties; operates trucks and light equipment incidental to the work.  Hourly rate begins at $18.25 per hour and is dependent on qualifications and experience.  Qualified applicants should submit an employment application which can be found at www.centralcitycolorado.us to the Finance/Human Resources Director at financedir@cityofcentral.co or to (P.O. Pre-Employment Drug Testing
