Waste Tire End Users Fund

 
ATTENTION: Due to the passing of House Bill 20-1406, End User Fund rebates for 2nd Quarter 2020 will not be issued due to no funding available. See the attached memorandum below for further explanation. Do not submit applications, they will not be reviewed.
 
The waste tire End Users Fund provides rebates to end users and retailers who sell tire-derived products. Funds collected through the $1.25 waste tire fee on new replacement tires on vehicles and trailers support this program.
The following are eligible to apply for a rebate:
  • Registered end users who end use tire-derived products or waste tires in Colorado;
  • Colorado retailers who sell certain Colorado-generated tire-derived products made in Colorado; and
  • Registered waste tire haulers who are also a registered end user in Colorado.
     
Application process
Download an application that is attached below. All sections are required unless otherwise noted. You can also print an application and fill it out by hand. Electronic signatures are not accepted.

Deadlines to submit applications for 2020
  • 3rd Quarter 2020.
    • Timeframe: July 1st, 2020 – September 30th, 2020.
    • Due date: October 15th, 2020.
 
  • 4th Quarter 2020.
    • Timeframe: October 1st, 2020 – December 31st, 2020.
    • Due date: January 15th, 2021.

Molded products, rubber mulch

Tier 3
Waste tire bales, alternative daily cover, civil engineering
Per ton rate: $12.50
 
Waste tire hauler rebate
$12.50 per ton
