Qualifying medical conditions Medical Marijuana Registry

Medical marijuana may be recommended for the following debilitating medical conditions or a debilitating medical condition that produces one of the following:
  • Cancer.
  • Glaucoma.
  • HIV or AIDS.
  • Cachexia.
  • Persistent muscle spasms.
  • Seizures.
  • Severe nausea.
  • Severe pain.
Since the Medical Marijuana Registry Program began in 2001, no new conditions have been added. Physicians or patients may petition the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to add a new condition.  Petition to add debilitating medical conditions.
