Update on Request for Rulemaking
Thank you for your continued feedback on 6 CCR 1009-6: Request for Rulemaking for Newborn Hearing Screening. The Department will request the Board of Health set a rulemaking hearing at the Board's meeting on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. The meeting will occur at the CDPHE main campus (4300 Cherry Creek Drive South; Building A, 1st Floor, Sabin/Cleere conference room; Denver, CO 80246). The meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. Though we are on the agenda for 10:30, meetings often trend early so consider arriving near 10:00. ASL interpreter services will be provided. Stakeholders are welcome to attend the request but there is no opportunity for public comment or oral testimony at this step in the board's process.
Please visit the Board of Health website for the agenda and the meeting documents.
Please see the link below for the Board document that highlights the major edits since Draft 5. For the couple of folks that offered edits, please compare the document to your comments as some of the technical edits may not be highlighted. While not all suggestions were incorporated, many of them were.

As we are in the process of building a new Health Information Data System, CDPHE will no longer be allocating resources to the upkeep of the old IDS database, including password resets. Thank you for your patience during this transition period.
