AQCC Regulation 7 Rule changes effective February 14, 2020:
- Annual vapor integrity pressure tests (Method 27) must be performed October through April. Certification tests performed in the summer, in the ozone non-attainment area, will be denied without prior approval.
- Orange certification stickers are no longer required or issued by the Air Pollution Control Division and all the certifications will be processed electronically through the online application.
- Drivers must maintain copies of the certification paperwork, for the vehicle in use, and provide upon request the APCD personnel.
Colorado Air Quality Control Commission Regulation 7, Control of Ozone via Ozone Precursors and Control of Hydrocarbons via Oil and Gas Emissions (Regulation 7 Part B IV.D), requires an annual vapor integrity certification test for gasoline transport trucks.
