East West Hospitality (EWH) celebrated its 30th anniversary by being named 2017 “Business of the Year” awarded by the Vail Valley Partnership and was recognized in 2016 as Colorado’s “Best Property Management Company” by ColoradoBIZ Magazine.  EWH was recently awarded the management of the Solaris Residence, a 22-unit luxury property, and Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa, both located the heart of the Vail Village. The company also oversaw several exciting renovation projects at its Vail Valley properties, added new luxury rental inventory at The Lion in Vail and upped its dedication to supporting its more than 700 Vail Valley employees by raising the company’s starting minimum wage to $15 per hour. 
 
With more than $2 billion in assets under management, EWH actively manages 85 HOA’s
company wide and more than 2,500 units in the Vail Valley including East West Partners developed Avon’s award-winning First Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Colorado’s first resort hotel to achieve LEED Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The company also operates in Snowmass, Denver; Charleston, South Carolina; Park City, Utah; and Lake Tahoe, California.

In 2017 EWH oversaw more than $20 million in renovations at two of its managed properties:
  • At Vail Spa Condominiums, owners funded $10 million in upgrades, including new energy-efficient and noise-reducing windows and doors, and a new solar heating mechanical system for the pool.​
  • At Beaver Creek’s Highlands Slopeside, owners committed nearly $9 million on exterior upgrades, including a new roof, new energy-efficient windows and doors.
    • EWH completed Energy Audits in 77% (10 of the 13) high-rise, lodge-type properties.
    • EWH reduced overall water consumption from 2011 to 2017 by 2.5 Million gallons of water throughout its managed properties.
    • EWH achieved Actively Green certification for seven of our lodging properties through a partnership with the global non-profit Sustainable Travel International, which provides sustainable business training and certification program.
    • EWH continues proud sponsor of the Sustainable Community Film Series presented by the Walking Mountains Science Center which is open to the public and shown monthly in two different towns.

In 2017 EWH worked with the Cycle Effect to create and fund a college scholarship program for their participants.  EW has been a long time huge supporter of The Cycle Effect, a local non-profit dedicated to young women at risk that uses mountain biking, education and mentoring to build self-esteem and improve their fitness.
