New General Permits:
On March 31, 2020, the division issued five new dewatering-related general permits to renew and/or replace previous general permits.  Note that the new general permits COG080000, COG317000, COG318000, and COG608000 became effective on June 1, 2020, while the new general permit COG603000 becomes effective June 1, 2022. This page provides an overview of the dewatering permit program, downloadable permits documents, and a link to request a permit action.
New General Permit Training
The Water Quality Control Division is hosting two online training sessions on the recently issued dewatering general permits. The training will highlight the differences between the previous permits and the renewal permits. 
 
The division is hosting the training twice on July 14 and July 16. Participants will be able to login to each session within a half hour before the scheduled start. While registration is not required, each meeting will reach maximum capacity once 500 participants have joined so we encourage you to login early.
