Cottage foods regulation development

Senate Bill 16-058 (SB), also known as the Colorado Cottage Food Act, signed by the Governor on April 26, 2016, revised elements of the Cottage Foods Act and eliminated the requirement for the division to develop regulations governing the production of pickled vegetables. We are in the process of updating guidance and developing additional resources for producers and local public health agencies.
