Colorado Medical Marijuana Code review

The Department of Regulatory Agencies is seeking feedback from medical marijuana patients and caregivers regarding the impact of the Colorado Medical Marijuana Code administered by the Department of Revenue's Marijuana Enforcement Division. Surveys close at 4 p.m. on Aug. 25.

The Colorado Medical Marijuana Code is scheduled to sunset on July 1, 2015, unless the General Assembly re-enacts it. This does not impact the constitutional authorization of medical marijuana or the statutory programs administered by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Before the code’s repeal, the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies must determine whether:
  • The code serves the public interest.
  • The code should be continued.
  • Changes need to be made to the code.
