Gov. John Hickenlooper has named November "Vape-Free November."
Vaping is a major issue in Colorado, and we all have a role in protecting youth from vape products, also known as e-cigarettes or JUUL.
The most recent Youth Risk Behavior Survey from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows Colorado leads the nation in youth use of vapor products, known as vape or e-cigarettes.
These products have become increasingly popular in recent years and are the second-most-used substance among Colorado high school students behind alcohol. One in four Colorado teens reports vaping, according to the 2017 Healthy Kids Colorado Survey.
