Jenni Mortimeyer is a Family Support Specialist with The Adoption Exchange. In this role, she provides training and support to foster, adoptive, and kinship families in rural areas of Colorado. Prior to this, she worked in education, with experience ranging from early childhood all the way up through post-secondary education. She has also worked with organizations serving senior citizens and children with developmental disabilities.
Jenni earned her Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado – Denver. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Management of Human Resources from Bellevue University. Jenni has a special concern for young children, the elderly, and those who are geographically isolated.
Jenni, a sixth-generation Colorado native, makes her home in Lamar with her husband and three children. She spends her free time enjoying her children and cheering them on in all of their academic and athletic pursuits, as well as assisting her aging grandparents. She volunteers as the Chairperson of the Board of Christian Education at her church and co-directs a large, vibrant children’s ministry. She also serves on the Historic Preservation Advisory Board for the City of Lamar.
