Colorado assessment and planning advisory council

Community-driven assessment and planning is a best practice and is critical to effectively improving the health and well-being of Coloradans. In order to complete an assessment and develop this plan, a multi-sectoral group of diverse, creative, dedicated individuals must come together to guide the process. The APAC is:
  • Comprised of 30-35 members across sectors and Colorado communities
  • Application process with a 2 year term
  • Quarterly meetings
  • Advises CDPHE on how to develop and implement an effective assessment and planning process
  • Formerly called the Public Health Improvement Steering Committee (PHISC)
  • Approves the final assessment and plan
