Citizen Advocate Meetings

The Colorado Department of Corrections holds Citizen Advocate Meetings at regularly scheduled intervals as a forum for communcation and information sharing between the Department of Corrections and its stakeholders.

2018 Citizen Advocate Meeting General Information

The final 2018 Citizen Advocate Meeting was held on October 17 at 1 pm at Denver Women's Correctional Facility. The 2018 Citizen Advocate Meetings have been completed for the year. We look forward to seeing you at the 2019 meetings.

2019 Citizen Advocate Meeting General Information

The DOC Citizen Advocate Meetings for 2019 will be held at the Denver Women's Correctional Facility, 3600 Havana, Denver, CO 80239. The meetings will be from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. To attend the Citizen Advocate Meeting please RSVP and submit a Consent to Search form (AR 300-27C) by the deadline identified below to cdoc@state.co.us.

If you have submitted a consent to search form within the last 12 months of the meeting date, please do not submit another form. Your form and clearance is valid for 12 months. To check the status of a previously submitted form please feel free to email cdoc@state.co.us.

Upcoming Citizen Advocate Meeting Dates and Deadlines

Please note that the 2019 Citizen Advocate Meeting dates have not yet been finalized.  Once they have been, the dates will be posted here. 
 
Please be sure you RSVP via email or phone to cdoc@state.co.us or 719-226-4569 by the RSVP deadline to ensure you are added to the approved facility entry list for the meeting. This will expedite your entry process and ensure you are able to attend the entire meeting.
