Stores across five county Area to be staffing up.

(DENVER)  --  Workforce Centers are teaming up to host a hiring event for a local retail grocer with numerous job openings at City Market stores in Garfield, Eagle, Summit, Rio Blanco and Routt Counties.

Because there are openings across a wide geographic region, the Workforce Centers are offering an online or “virtual” hiring event atwww.connectingcolorado.com from June 19 through June 28.  This Virtual Job Fair eliminates geographical barriers and enables job seekers to connect with City Market from their homes, offices or from a dedicated computer station at their nearest Workforce Center.

After registering at the website, job seekers can visit the virtual fair at any time, twenty four hours a day.  In addition, on June 19, 22 through 26, representatives from City Market will be available from 10 AM to 4 PM to talk with applicants informally and answer questions.

The grocery chain has a variety of positions open for hire.  Job seekers are advised to learn about the jobs and get their questions answered when visiting with recruiters.  Like any job fair, if you do your homework and come prepared, managers and recruiters will be impressed.

For assistance or to learn more about this online hiring event, contact your nearest Workforce Center. A listing of all Workforce Centers in Colorado is available at www.colorado.gov/cdle/wfc.
