Frisco Workforce Center Offers Summit County Job Fair May 26

(DENVER) -- On Thursday, May 26, the Frisco Workforce Center will join forces with the Summit Chamber of Commerce, Krystal 93 and Summit County Social Services to hold a Summit County Job Fair at the Community and Senior Center, 0083 Nancy’s Place in Frisco from 3 PM to 6 PM.

The event is anticipated to draw hundreds of job seekers to meet with representatives from more than 30 businesses with full-time and part-time positions to be filled.  In fact, many could land a summer job right on the spot!

Staff from the Frisco Workforce Center will be on hand to answer questions and address specific topics that will help teens get ahead such as how to do a successful job interview, money management, apprenticeships and more.

Having an account with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment’s job bank called Connecting Colorado (www.connectingcolorado.com) is helpful but is not required.  People interested in attending the Summit County Job Fair can learn more by contacting the Frisco Workforce Center at 602 Galena Street.  The Frisco Workforce Center can also be reached at 970-668-5360 or via email at Frisco@state.co.us.

“Come prepared and hiring managers and recruiters will be impressed,” says Rosemary Pettus, Regional Director of the Frisco Workforce Center.  “Take notes and get your questions answered when visiting with recruiters.  If you’re ready, the Summit County Job Fair can be a major turning point for you.”
