The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment has announced a relocation of the Burlington Workforce Center from 420 South 14th Street to nearby office space at 1457 Martin Avenue. Office hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Thursday and the phone number (719-346-5331) is unchanged.

While the Burlington Workforce Center is part of a statewide network of employment and training offices, it is also very much a part of the community in which it operates. Local businesses will continue to play an active role in ensuring that the Burlington Workforce Center is meeting their needs.

Employers in Kit Carson and surrounding counties can turn to the Workforce Center for customized recruiting, screening of skilled applicants, on-the-job training, assistance with tax credits and information on employment law.

For job seekers, the Burlington Workforce Center provides the tools to build a better future. “We look forward to continuing to work with the people of Kit Carson County,” says Eastern Workforce Centers Director Dawn Garcia. “We want the citizens of Burlington to know that the same services we have provided them in the past will continue to be provided at our new location.”
